Do you have a gift for talking to people? Are you proud of your region and love to show it off? Do you love working outdoors and have an interest in sharing stories of our local history and culture?

We’re looking for guides to join our talented and friendly team for the 2025/26 season.

Based in Taumarunui, Ruapehu region.

  • Must be able to bring their personality to the job
  • Love working outdoors and with people
  • Have a knack for remembering stories and facts
  • Flexible, professional nature and able to juggle multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail and takes pride in their work
  • Understand customer service
  • A clean NZ Driver Licence. P Licence useful.
  • Safety focused
  • Part-time and full-time fixed-term work available between 30th September 2025 to 9th May 2026 including weekends
  • Physically fit and able
  • Full training provided
  • First-aid and chainsaw safety certificates desirable

Our Conductors are an integral part of our tours – they help set up carts, maintain safety measures on the tour, interact with guests and gain valuable experience at speaking in public

We’re looking for Safety Conductors to join our talented and friendly team for the 2025/26 season.

Based in Taumarunui, Ruapehu region.

FOOD HEROes

Are you a Food Hero? We’re looking for people who have a good eye for detail and a flair for display. Someone who will help set up and pack up our off-grid tour lunch sites. No cooking required. Experience with food safety, handling and dietary requirements preferred, but not necessary. Full training provided.

We’re looking for Food Heroes/Lunchies to join our talented and friendly team for the 2025/26 season.

Based in Taumarunui, Ruapehu region.

  • Have a flexible and professional nature
  • Be able to deal with last minute changes to the plan
  • Attention to detail and takes pride in their work
  • Understand customer service
  • A clean NZ Driver’s licence

  • Part-time and full-time (casual) positions available between 30th September ’25 and 9th May ’26, including weekends
  • Hours are generally 9am-3.30pm
  • Physically fit and able

  • Class 1 & 2 (minimum)
  • P-endorsement (large vehicles) or the ability to apply for it

  • Love working outdoors and with people
  • Have a flexible and professional nature
