Amazing trip from Tauramanui to Whangamomona on the coach,couldn’t see much due to fog & as a photographer that was unfortunate! Rail trail was really fun, lots of tunnels & you need the jackets & wooly hats, even though 28 C outside of tunnels ! So lots of on off with layers. Stunning weather. Fabulous scenery. The history was interesting & well told by our guides. Morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea were delicious. Long day. A must do, so put it on your bucket list.
