Remote NZ at its best. Fun, friendly and informative. The cost for such an excellent weekend was very reasonable. We spent two days and one night with on our expedition. We had a lot of laughs, while learning the history of the area. The jet boat and Heli trip is something I will never forget. Staff are always there and ready to help. There was a group of twelve of us on our trip and we were easily accommodated. (20 November 2025)

The Republic

Excellent experience. One to put on the bucket list. Excellent day out. The whole experience was well organised and great. Dale was very informative at every stop and made the trip very interesting hearing the history of the once booming towns and places along the tracks. Morning/ Afternoon tea and lunch was excellent. Other staff assisting on the trip were very good.
