So funky and fun! This is such a fun experience. It is 3 hours from Auckland and you get to see the countryside. These are golf carts on an old railroad line. You don’t have to steer, just enjoy the scenery and you get your own cart. There is a stop for tea and snacks and later a stop for lunch. At the end there is a ride on a jet boat which was fun. The hotel itself is very basic but clean. This was my husband’s favorite adventure of our 3 week trip to New Zealand ! Take it if you can, you won’t be disappointed. (15 Mar 2025)
