I wasn’t sure what to expect but this was better than I thought. Thank you to Shane for your informative information about where we were and the history behind these places. Chris and Bella for looking after us. We did a two day trip from Stratford with another two couples. We all had a fantastic time. The home baking was yummy and staying at Whanga was like a step back in time with all the old buildings. The boys are already talking about doing a boys trip with some other mates. I was worried when they mentioned all the tunnels but by the end I was happy to go through them. Anyone thinking about doing this trip you will not be disappointed.
