AMAZING! Everything from initial contact to make a booking to farewell us at the end of the tour was so smooth and efficient. The tour itself was sensory overload with the region offering beautiful scenery and just quintessential NZ. Our guides on the day were so informative but also just lovely to have a chat. I recommend that everyone add this unique tour to your bucket list.

Fantastic trip

We had an amazing day with Forgotten World Adventures. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the scenery was unbelievably beautiful and we had a tasty lunch and mouth-watering cakes/biscuits with our morning and afternoon drinks stops. The bus journey along the forgotten highway was eerily beautiful in the early morning mist. We then took the rail carts from Whangamomona back to Taumarunui which was great fun. We had several stops - each time the guide told us about the history of the line, the places we were driving through and the communities that once lived in them. Going through the tunnels was great fun.
