A magical, peaceful and tranquil Lavender field adjacent to the Whanganui River

Located on the Forgotten World Highway adjacent to the Whanganui River, Lauren’s Lavender Farm offers you a magical, peaceful and tranquil surroundings of lavender fields, farmland and bush.

The farm grows around 8 000 lavender plants and they are in full bloom from the end of December until early March. Relax in the wonderful aroma of lavender while enjoying a cup of coffee and a selection of cakes and muffins.

The farm is located just 15km outside Taumarunui, adjacent to the famous Whanganui River.

When is the farm open?

The farm is open from the end of October, until the middle of May, 9am to 4pm.
