4 of us did the Expedition tour, which includes the rail cart from Taumarunui to Whangamomona and night in Whangamomona. The next morning you take a helicopter flight over the Whanganui National Park, then a short jet boat ride where you start your walk to the Bridge to Nowhere. Then you continue the stunning 127Km jet boat ride up the river back to Taumarunui. Virtually everything is included….snacks, lunch etc. We all thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to see and do something a little different in NZ.
