Arrive on Day 1 at Omaka Lodge Boutique Bed & Breakfast in Taumarunui where you will enjoy exclusive use of the venue. Be welcomed by owners, Scott & Chris with Cheese and Premium New Zealand Wines.

Start Day 2 with an enhanced continental breakfast. Board your private transfer to Okahukura Station for your exclusive Republic 20 Rail Cart Tour with Forgotten World Adventures. Discover 82km of the Forgotten World Railway with your Guide by private Rail Cart. Travel through 20 hand-built tunnels and hear the stories your local Guide will tell you of the early pioneers.
Arrive In Tokirima where Forgotten World Adventures founder Ian Balme is preparing a BBQ lunch for you.
Continue on the Rail Carts through the Tangarakau Gorge to New Zealand’s self-proclaimed republic, the Republic of Whangamomona.
Be welcomed by Whangamomona Hotel & Lodge owners, Vicky & Richard. Sit down for an a la carte dinner with a complimentary glass of premium New Zealand wine in the ambiance of the Whangamomona Hotel.

On Day 3, enjoy a full cooked country style breakfast. Board your private helicopter and enjoy a 20 minute scenic flight over the Whanganui National Park with your host and pilot, Dean Lithgow, to Pipiriki.
Arrive at Whanganui River Adventures and be welcomed by owners and local iwi Josephine & Ken - one of only two couples to have been married on the Bridge to Nowhere. Take a private 1 hour jet boat ride up the Whanganui River to the Bridge to Nowhere. Enjoy a beautiful 2.5km walk on a well-formed track of easy gradient in spectacular native bush to the Bridge to Nowhere. Learn about those who have settled in this remote area and the challenges they’ve faced.
Enjoy a light lunch at Mangapurua Landing before continuing in your jet boat to Blue Duck Station.

On the morning of Day 4, start the day with a sit-down cooked breakfast with homemade breads, charcuteries and preserves. After breakfast, take a private transfer to your awaiting jet boat for a private 2 hour ride up the Whanganui River to Ohinepane Landing.
Be transferred to Lauren’s Lavender Farm. Meet the owners, mother-and-daughter team, Lorraine & Casey. Stroll through the magnificent lavender fields. Browse the gift shop with its array of lavender products. Enjoy a beautifully prepared lunch on the terrace overlooking the lavender fields. Farewell your guide before departing on your return private transfer to Omaka Lodge Boutique B&B and your awaiting vehicle.
