"Expedition - Bridge to Nowhere"
We did the two day Expedition tour. Awesome! a must do. Friendly tour guides, exceptionally well organised. Stayed the Friday night at FWA accommodation. Rail carts were great. Had cover so we're protected from weather. So much local history and knowledge. Ray was so natural and informative. Learnt so much. Delicious home made morning tea and lunch. Stepping back in time. Tunnels are amazing as so old and still standing (built 1910 onwards). We stayed the night at Whangamomona Hotel which was another experience - got the passport stamped as being in a Republic. Sunday morning we departed by helicopter for a scenic trip into the bush. There we began our jetboating. Hours of boating, stop off to walk to the Bridge to Nowhere. Amazing this bridge was built by four men!. Continued on up the river. Ross an amazing host/driver. Highly recommend this excursion.

"A Truly Unique and Engaging Experience"
A super unique and awesome experience! We booked The Expedition package which included 20 tunnels a stay at Whangamomona Hotel then a helicopter and jet boat ride. The scenery was incredible and the whole tour from start to finish was well organised, the staff were knowledgeable and the food was great - especially the home baking! I would highly recommend to anyone."
